Antique Tibetan Singing Bowl

 Every Handmade Tibetan Singing Bowl is unique. This one is FANTASTIC! A stunning old bowl from a village in Nepal, it measures just 4 1/2" wide, stands 2" tall, and weighs over 11 oz. The wooden striker is 7 1/2" and is included. The bowl is graded 'antique' in Nepal being 35-100 years old. The bowl has a heavy feel to it, very very worn and tarnished surface, smooth great feeling hand hammered dents, nice sounding G note bowl with good sustain. EXCELLENT! Gongs well, just G, I did not find this one easy to play around the rim. Click below to listen to the bowl being 'gonged', struck lightly with a felt wrapped mallet (I strike all the bowls with the same mallet for consistency / this bowl sings for much longer than the short sound clip).
