The best description of these talks was expressed in Carla
Cooper's 'Summary Comments and Thank You' to Fr. Keating at the
Seminar..."Thank You for your abundant joy and humor - for your refusal
to mince words or make the work of growing up in Christ seem any easier
than it really is or any less extraordinary than it really
is." Fr. Keating reintoduces us to Mary, Martha and Lazarus.
His invitation to "the tomb and the banquet" helps us all to understand
that although the work of shaking off our false self and becoming a
vessel of divine presence can be difficult, there is not work more
important.
