As a learned and dedicated Jew who embraced Jesus, Paul grappled with the issues of sin, death, transformaton, law, eternal life, communion and love.  Rohr also searches for meaning and understanding of these issues in light of contemporary psychology, cosmolog and global awareness.  Rohr see us as partaking in the incredible transformation of the whole cosmos that struggles with the pattern of descent and ascent that revealed and affirmed in Jesus.
