Margaret Rizza

Occasionally a new, distinctive sound appears in sacred music. It happened with Taize and with Iona. We believe it is happening again with "Fountain of Life." This rich, deeply contemplative music by Margaret Rizza uses simple, repetitive melodies carrying out short usually scriptural, texts.

Margaret Rizza has dedicated herself to the work of spirituality since 1983, leading retreats and courses for prayer guides all over the world. During October 1997, she gave a series of workshops introducing "Fountain of Life." The simple beautiful chants prepare the busy mind to enter into the stillness and silence of prayer.
