Spiritual companions reflect on life, death, faith, suffering, relationships and community in the light of Patricia Ng's experience with cancer and her practice of Christian Meditation.

Diagnosed with advanced stage stomach cancer in July 2003, she had undergone surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatment. In May 2004, she started a meditation group at a local hospital for cancer patients, case-givers and healthcare workers. With her husband, Peter, she co-ordinated the activities of the Singapore Christian meditation community.
